Reserve the Buck Creek Township Community Room
A simple way to request a daily rental, submit your required information, and complete payment or invoicing after approval.
All reservations are subject to township approval.

Rules & restrictions
- • All renters must be at least 25 years old.
- • No alcohol permitted. This is a smoke-free property.
- • A copy of the renter's ID is required with each reservation.
- • Payment must be completed at least 30 days before the reservation date. If payment is not received 30 days in advance, we cannot guarantee your original reservation.
- • Reservations are invoiced via email and paid by debit or credit card (3.5% fee).
- • Selling of products or services is not permitted within government buildings.
- • The facility is electronically monitored; access is granted through electronic doors.
- • Upon arrival, inspect the room for damages and report any issues via email.
- • Renter is responsible for event setup, cleanup, trash disposal, and leaving the Community Room and property tidy. Trash bags, broom, and dustpan are provided; the dumpster is out back.
- • Floors must be left clean. Cleaning supplies are in the cleaning closet; brooms and other items are in the community room closet.
- • Bathrooms and hallways must be left clean and tidy.
- • The kitchenette must be cleared and tidy when your event is complete.
- • Do NOT stack chairs around the room. Return chairs along the walls and any overflow chairs to the closet.
- • Never extend the dividing wall yourself — only Township employees may extend it, to avoid damage.
- • Exterior doors must not be propped open (environmental controls).
- • Parking must remain on the side of the Government Building so as not to block emergency vehicles.
- • Community Room visitors may NEVER enter the Fire Station. To schedule a Fire Station tour, call 317-353-3570.
- • Renters may use the outdoor picnic tables, Community Room, restrooms, and vending. Please stay out of the Government Center hallway and Conference Room (personnel only).
- • Police, Fire, and Hancock County Government have priority over any private reservations at all times.
- • A $150 cleanup fee will be charged if the room is not cleaned to standard. Room must be cleaned by 8 AM the day after your event. To schedule the cleanup crew, call 317-649-1425.
- • Weather note: if there is snow, there will be salt — we cannot control the weather.
Payment & cancellation
Payment is due at least 30 days before the reservation date. If payment is not received 30 days in advance, we cannot guarantee the original reservation date.
